Four tablespoons of lentils or beans are also essential and does not help in fat deposition. 

Starchy Carbohydrate Foods 

Cereals, brown bread, chapati, rice, pasta and potatoes are rich in starchy carbohydrates that provide energy to the body and are full of iron and vitamin B. Among these whole grains are most advisable. But make a note that none of these, especially pasta, potatoes and rice should be eaten in moderate to low amount. 

Other important Diet Tips

  • Milk and dairy products are an important source of calcium but be smart while having it. Go for fat free cheese and milk and also consume more amounts of yoghurts. 
  • Go for sugar free foods and supplement them with fruits.
  • Do not go for sugary spreads over the breat.
  • Rather than oil, use oil sprays while cooking.

Always remember that it is a wrong notion that fat free foods are bad to taste or monotonous. You can innovate various new things if you apply a little intelligence.
